Mission
Our mission can be best summed up in the two phrases that we print on all of our Catalog literature and in all of our advertising:
“Creating useful items that carry your ad…since 1946” and “Promotional products that connect to every lifestyle”. At the same time, we are constantly striving to provide the highest quality products at an affordable and reasonable price.
Corporate History
Waldor Products has always been a family operation: the company was founded in 1946 by Walter and Dorothy Spiegel (thus the name “Waldor” which contains the first three letters of each of their names!). They had just married and Walter was only recently out of the military following his tour of duty in WWII. In 1969 they were joined by their son, Stephen, who had just finished college and military commitment and who is currently the President.
Employee Information
Located in a predominantly residential area of Jersey City, NJ, we have always been fortunate in employing a loyal staff of people from our immediate neighborhood. Therefore, while the demographics of our area have changed, we have always prided ourselves on maintaining a close relationship with our employees, creating a kind of extended family. As a result, a large percentage of our staff has been with us 30 year or more.
